What is it?
Fertilix® is a unique blend of natural vitamins and minerals that act as hydrophilic (water-soluble) or lipophilic (fat-soluble) antioxidants. Collectively, these vitamins and minerals support sperm health at the molecular level, protecting DNA and other cellular components from free radical damage and other physiological and environmental stressors we face on a daily basis.

Why should men be concerned with sperm oxidative stress and its impact on sperm function?
Men trying to conceive need to optimize the health of their sperm prior to conception. The healthier the sperm cells the greater the chance of a successful conception which is often overlooked. Broadly speaking, sperm health means optimum sperm motility, morphology, concentration and normal DNA integrity. Sperm health critically depends on a low oxidative environment in the male reproductive tract to allow normal sperm development and storage in the testes. If sperm cells are exposed to oxidative stress, a reduction in semen quality may become evident. However, in some men, oxidative stress could affect DNA integrity without affecting semen parameters. Only DNA integrity tests such as SCSA or COMET can tell you whether you have suffered sperm DNA damage. However, these tests are not routinely prescribed by fertility physicians.

What are the ingredients in Fertilix®?
The active ingredients are: Vitamin C, a proprietary blend of naturally-derived Tocopherols and Tocotrienols (Vitamin E), Vitamin B9 (Folic acid), Zinc, Selenium, Lycopene, and a proprietary blend of Carnitines.
Dosage and Administration:
Fertilix® formulations consist of tablets and vegetarian softgels to be taken together as indicated below. For maximum benefit, the recommended full course is 90 days. However, you may notice improvement of sperm parameters in as early as three weeks.
When should I take Fertilix®?
For best results, take Fertilix® for a minimum of 90 days prior to attempting conception and continue until pregnancy has been achieved. The 90 day period covers one full cycle of spermatogenesis (~ 74 days) plus about 2 weeks of storage time. However, the protective effects of Fertilix may begin in as early as three weeks.
Side Effects and Contraindications
The ingredients in the Fertilix® formulation are present in a variety of fruits, vegetables and meats. They are safe as long as taken at the recommended doses. Do not take Fertilix® if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients. Consult your doctor if you are unsure.
